Giuseppe
Arcimboldo was an Italian painter. He was born in 1527 in Milan, Italy. He was
a mannerist. The “Mannerism” was the art of portraying
the relationship between human and nature. He was known for creating imaginative
portrait heads
made of
fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and books. His major works are “Winter”,
“Spring”,”Summer”, “Autumn” (1573).
He died on 11th July 1593 at the age of 66.
